Personal Life
He was born on the 5th of November 1984, in Kwara State, Ilorin, Nigeria, as the only male heir of Gbadebo Oyekan’s family. His educational life began at Air force Nursery and Primary school in Ilorin. After which, he proceeded to Federal Government College Ilorin, for his secondary school education, later left there to continue his studies at the Baptist Model High School in Ilorin.
He proceeded to the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, where he studied Industrial Chemistry for his B.SC. Although his wife is now late, he was married to Adedoyin Oyekan, and is blessed currently with two lovely children.’

Dunsin, a music producer who is a master at playing different musical instruments including the guitar, keyboard, and drums. He was once the music director of the popular award-winning choir – Avalanche of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

His father loved music and songwriting, so he talked young Dunsin Oyekan into learning to play the guitar. Because of this, he started singing and playing the guitar at the tender age of 10.
So far, he has successfully released over thirty songs, including the popular song Na You, which featured Kim Burrell, an American gospel singer, in 2016, Dunsin Oyekan released his 14-track debut album titled Code Red.
Dunsin Oyekan has ministered on the same stage with many notable musicians including Tasha Cobbs, Don Moen, Kurt Carr Byron Cage, William Murphy, Sinach, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Kim Burrell Frank Edwards, Tye Tribbett and Freke Umoh.
